Mirrors Committees

There are 5 committees, DANCE, SELECTIONS, ADVERTISING, FUNDRAISING AND SERVICE. Each committee consists of the members of Mirrors split up according to their first or second choice interest as to which committee they want to be in, minus the exec board, who is a member of ALL of the committees. There are also 2 co-chairs which "run" the committee and are chosen at the first meeting of Mirrors by the other members.


The committtees meet as often as needed, usually once a week or bi-weekly, at a time that all of the members of the committee agree upon. In these meetings, they discuss what they need to accomplish, brainstorm new ideas and get things done. The vice-president presides over all 5 committees and is encouraged to attend as many meetings as possible that each committee holds.


The committee chairs are in charge of assigning tasks and roles to their committe members and try to bring the committee together by calming disputes and practicing teamwork. If there is a problem that gets out of hand, the co-chairs should contact the vice-president to work it out. Any unaswered questions go to the Vice-president and the Vice-president also makes sure the committees are getting things done. If a member of a committee feels like a co-chair (or both) are not doing their part, they can come and talk to the vice-president as well.
